1. Regularly check the appearance of your cat’s toy. Check out if there are parts that are cut, sliced or dent so that you can prevent any source of injury or choking hazards.

However, you still need to look for toy mice which are safe and will not be pulled out of its original appearance because your cat might eat or swallow it.
